Eight years ago Elaine Came to Reprodux for the colour printing for the first Greenlinks Directory. She had heard that in the USA thye had managed to produce printing inks made of vegetable components.

After a lot of investigating and searching around we found a family run company who had developed an ink made of 45% soya oil and 55% linseed oil.We carried out various test runs to see if the inks were compatible with our equipment and with the other parts of the printing process.

Much to our delight everything worked perfectly well and the quality of the work produced was kept to the same high standard as before. these inks are now used as part of the everyday process of printing here at Reprodux, so that all our customers can have an eco-friendly product at the same price and quality.
