Health Stephen Weir In order to fully play our part in making the world a Green and Sustainable place we must care for our bodies – we can do so much more with abundant health and energy. Eating wholesome and fresh food (NOT been through a factory!) lightly cooked - if at all, ensures we get the nutrients we need to keep our bodies healthy. Juicing (the real, raw thing, not processed cartons of concentrate) is a great way to 'top up' your nutrient intake. It is easy to do, or to find at a juice bar and raw vegetables and fruit contain essential vitamins, minerals and plenty of enzymes. These go to boost your immune system, help your skin stay healthy and glowing as well as increasing energy levels. Wheatgrass is a fantastic 'raw food'. It contains chlorophyll (nature's most health promoting nutrient), 20 amino acids, several hundred different enzymes not found in other foods, as many as 90 out of 102 possible minerals, vitamins and other important nutrients. Grow it on your kitchen windowsill, it is so easy- and for best results, juice it.
Plenty of exercise and movement is essential, moving our bodies fully for at least 30 minutes every day to keep life flows of oxygen and essential circulations going. There is no substitute. Get up, do some wonderful yoga/movement and walk, skip, hop, run and dance through the day, enjoying life – and you will feel.......... GREAT. |
