Community action is the ‘glue’ that holds all the new ideas for one-planet living together.

Community groups from all over the county are deciding to make their local area a better place to live and are simply taking action as volunteers. Some people are forming carbon-reduction groups, some are working together to form food co-ops in order to buy fresh healthy food at a discount.

Others are visiting nature reserves and going walking as alternatives to that extra foreign holiday – all these decisions and actions may seem tiny on their own, but when multiplied through the community, can add up to big changes for the better.

Hopefully, Greenlinks will inspire more people to do more things to add their bit to the positive change that is starting to happen.
